happy/sad news!

hi all puppy blog followers -

i have happy/sad news - the puppies and i went to hang out with paige and all the other mostly mutts rescues at the kennesaw petsmart today and all the babies were adopted out -- their new owners took on fostering them until they are spayed and then they're officially theirs -- so no more chloe, bear, and joplin. though it was so hard to let them go after being their mom since they were 2 weeks old, i'm happy they're going to good homes - i met the people that adopted chloe and joplin and both seem like they will be great new parents for the kids (hopefully they'll send pictures so we can keep up with them).

i did however, bring home their one littermate that didn't get adopted (one another girl had been fostering) and another puppy ("captain cutie") who is ADORABLE. the akita puppy and cap'n cutie are the same size even though cutie is 9 weeks old and the akita is 5.5 weeks old.

there were sooo many great dogs and puppies there today - please pass word on to your friends who may be considering getting one - you can put them in touch with me and i'll pass them on to paige.
