friday night, late night...while leo lounges on the couch behind us....beulah came and snuggled up next to me...this was a major breakthrough for us - though it hasn't been replicated again over the weekend.... 

new additions!!!

on sunday february 26th.....the two newest additions came to reside at our house...little miss beulah and little miss madame are the newest fosters. these little angels are papillons and are tiny! they are both still very timid and afraid but we're beginning to make little steps of progress in terms of petting and coming in and out of the house voluntarily.

leo the lion is back again for an overnight to play with all the other dogs....he loves it here and all the dogs love him....i think he's giving the other little girls confidence so that's always a good thing.

we have a breakthrough!!! beulah let's me pet her and rub behind her ears....this is probably the first time she has WILLINGLY let me pet her....every other time it's been almost in resignation....madame is still more comfortable with the house (has no fears of going in and out like beulah does and seems to have a greater affinity for the other 4-leggers) but madame is still not ready to be petted.... 

leo shows beulah and madame how to maximize dakota....PLAY TIME!! however, beulah and madame don't play with dakota....they're still a little too shy.  

how many dogs can you count in the picture?! i'll tell you -- left bottom is beulah, then above her is madame....leo is the one climbing on top of dakota who is laying down and taking everything from them all....
